Sarah Osborne is a senior associate in Ellisons’ residential property team in Bury St Edmunds. She specialises in the niche area of leasehold enfranchisement which includes lease extensions, purchasing freeholds and right to manage claims.
With over 16 years of experience in leasehold enfranchisement, Sarah has built up an expertise in this complex area of law. She is accustomed to advising clients of a wide breadth including residential management companies, investors with substantial property portfolios and individual flat owners. Sarah is familiar with assisting property teams as well as experience of dealing with the Residential Property First Tier Tribunal and County Court.
Sarah has dealt with a whole range of claims under the leasehold enfranchisement umbrella and is well versed in dealing with complex claims including cases involving disputed rights of way, and roof top development. She has been ranked in Legal 500 as a rising star and has been noted for her “fantastic knowledge” and for “providing advice in an easy way to understand”.

Sarah is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales. She holds an LLB from the University of East London and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2013. She previously qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer and was a member of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers from 2005-2013.
