Guy Longhurst is the Managing Partner of Ellisons and Head of the Real Estate team. With nearly three decades of legal experience, he specialises in residential, commercial and mixed-use development sites.
Guy has successfully led high-profile transactions involving significant development sites of several thousand homes and mixed use retail and leisure parks. He advises a diverse range of clients, including developers, investors, charities and public authorities and enjoys strong relationships with a wide range of professional advisors.
Recognised for his approachable and solution-driven style, Guy builds lasting partnerships by tailoring his advice to his clients’ goals. His collaborative approach ensures clarity and confidence throughout even the most complex transactions, with clients valuing his strategic insight and practical, commercially focused advice.
Guy qualified as a solicitor in 1997 after completing a four year town planning degree and a law conversion course at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
