Chris is a Partner in Ellisons’ Commercial Property team in Colchester.
Chris trained and qualified with the firm and specialises in complex residential development sites, acting for both developers and landowners. He also advises on associated planning matters with a particular focus on preparing and negotiating Section 106 Agreements for large residential developments.
Chris also oversees the technical and compliance of the team, along with heading up the Commercial Property Team in Colchester
Chris is highly regarded for providing sound advice with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional service. He has established strong, trusted relationships with several key developers throughout the Essex area.

- Acting for developers on the sale of affordable housing units to housing associations
- Acting for Landlords in connection with mixed freehold and leasehold portfolios, for both occupation and as investment vehicles

Outside the office
Chris is a member of the Brightlingsea Sailing Club and is also a dinghy sailing instructor. When he’s not sailing or at work, Chris enjoys spending time travelling with his family.
