Robbie started his career as an IT apprentice for the NHS back in 2011 and built upon his foundational IT and customer service skills working on their busy helpdesk, out in the field and within the business. Upon completing his apprenticeship, Robbie stayed at the NHS as a junior developer until he branched out to work for All3Media in London as an IT Technician, assisting with various TV production projects.
Robbie eventually came back to Colchester to start working with Ellisons where he has progressed through from a technician, up to his role now as IT Manager, leading the team.
Robbie holds holds certifications including ITIL Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, reflecting both his technical expertise and commitment to best practices in IT service management and project delivery.
Outside the office
Robbie is busy with his other job as a dad, but enjoys playing guitar, listening to/seeing live music, paddle boarding (when it’s warm), gaming and reading.
