Rachel Dawson is a Partner and Chartered Legal Executive in Ellisons’ Private Client team. Rachel leads the team in Bury St Edmunds, while continuing to look after her clients in Ipswich, Woodbridge, Framlingham and surrounding villages. She specialises in wills, trusts, probate, estate administration and high-net-wealth tax planning matters.
With over 20 years’ experience in the Private Client sector, Rachel advises individuals, families and trustees on estate administration, inheritance tax planning and lasting powers of attorney. She works with high-net-worth individuals, farming families and business owners, and is recognised for her practical and empathetic approach to client service.
Rachel guides clients through complex legal and financial matters with confidence and care, ensuring their long-term goals are met.
Rachel qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2013 before joining Ellisons in 2021 as an Associate Chartered Legal Executive. Rachel was promoted to Partner in 2024. She is also a STEP-accredited Trust and Estate Practitioner and a Dementia Friends Ambassadors, raising awareness and fostering dementia-friendly communities through workshops.
