Megan is a third-year apprentice solicitor in Ellisons’ Private Client team, based in the Ipswich office, supporting individuals and families with a broad range of private client matters and specialising primarily in wills and estate administration.
Megan began her career with Ellisons in 2023 after completing her A‑Levels. Since joining the firm, she has gained valuable practical experience while studying towards her law degree and SQE and working closely with a wide range of colleagues across the Wills, Trusts and Probate team as part of her solicitor apprenticeship.
Megan has assisted on a wide variety of wills and estate administration matters, gaining hands‑on experience across probate applications, estate accounts and client correspondence, and supporting clients with both straightforward and more complex estates. As part of her training, she works closely with senior solicitors on probate matters, intestacy cases and the practical administration of estates, developing a solid understanding of private client work from instruction through to completion and contributing to the effective, client‑focused management of live files.
Megan adopts a practical and client‑focused approach to client care, recognising that wills and estate matters often arise at significant or sensitive moments in clients’ lives and taking time to understand each client’s individual circumstances and priorities. She is committed to explaining legal issues in a clear and accessible way, ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout the process.
Megan is undertaking her training for qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales. She is currently studying towards her LLB with BPP University and will complete the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) as part of her solicitor apprenticeship.
Megan enjoys singing and musical theatre, as well as socialising with family and friends.
