Lloyd Birch

Lloyd Birch is a Trainee Solicitor currently in Ellisons’ Corporate and Commercial Team based in our Chelmsford Office. Lloyd assists on a wide array of matters including high value mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring.

Lloyd is currently in the second seat of his Training Contract. In his first seat with the Property Litigation team, he assisted clients with complex land disputes and landlord and tenant issues.

Lloyd is known for his friendly and approachable nature, and his attention to detail and responsiveness to clients. Lloyd focuses on the practicalities of each client’s circumstances and aims to advance each client’s specific goals.

Lloyd graduated from the University of York in summer 2024 with a degree in law. He is particularly proud of his dissertation titled “Defining the Undefinable – an evaluation of the definition of disability under the Equality Act 2010” from which he achieved a mark of 70%.
