Lauren is a Senior Associate Solicitor in Ellisons’ Commercial Property team, based in Chelmsford. She offers clients clear, practical guidance on commercial property leases, secured lending, acquisitions, disposals, and leasehold matters, ensuring complex transactions proceed efficiently and with confidence.
Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2014, following the completion of her training contract at a firm in Windsor, Lauren has developed extensive experience representing both lenders and borrowers in commercial property matters.
Areas of Specialism
- Acquisition and disposal of all types of freehold and leasehold commercial property; including, land, retail space, offices, industrial units, restaurants and cafes. With expertise in agreements for sale, conditional contracts and option agreements.
- Landlord and Tenant projects; including, acting for both landlords and tenants in connection with new leases, renewal leases, agreements, assignments, licences (to underlet and for works), surrenders and variations.
- Secured lending matters; including, acting for both borrowers and institutional lenders (including; development finance, re-financing and bridging loans).
- Development sites; including, acting for and advising both landowners and developers on acquisitions, disposals, options and conditional contracts.
Outside the office
Lauren enjoys socialising , travelling and being in the kitchen either baking or cooking!
