Jo is an Associate Solicitor in Ellisons’ Commercial Property team, based in Ipswich. She works closely with a range of clients from business owners to property investors, providing clear, practical advice on all aspects of commercial property transactions. Jo is known for her approachable manner and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her clients.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2014 after completing her training contract at a local firm, before joining Ellisons.
Jo holds a Law Degree from the University of Nottingham and completed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction at BPP Law School in Leeds, having been awarded the Principal’s Scholarship.
Jo is currently on maternity leave.

- All types of commercial leases acting for both landlords and tenants (inc. new and renewal leases, agreements for lease, assignments and licences)
- Acquisition and disposal of all types of freehold and leasehold commercial property (inc. office, retail and restaurant space, as well as industrial warehouse units, public houses and agricultural land)

- Acquisition and disposal of development sites

Outside the office
Jo’s main passion is salsa dancing, which she teaches locally, as well as attending regular dance lessons and socials. Jo is also a keen musician and intends to dust-off her saxophone and join a local band in the near future(!) Otherwise, looking after her new puppy keeps Jo more than busy but, if she finds additional time, she enjoys socialising with friends, travelling, and she is also a keen baker.
