Emily Chandler

Emily Chandler is an Apprentice Solicitor in our Commercial Property department based in Bury St Edmunds. Emily works alongside Susan Ryan and Nathan Howe assisting in a wide range of commercial transactions from landlord and tenant transactions to property acquisitions and disposals.

Emily has previously spent two years of her career working in the residential property department, specialising in residential sales, purchases, mortgages, transfers and first registrations. Since moving to the commercial property department she has successfully applied and expanded these skills, bringing a strong foundation in property law to her work in commercial transactions.

Emily has recently won an in-firm award for being the most ‘studious’, reflecting her dedication to professional development and high-quality work. Her growing experience across the residential property and commercial property department allows her to provide a well-rounded understanding of client needs and practicalities of the property transactions.

Emily takes pride in assisting clients by ensuring they remain updated throughout each stage of the transaction. She is proactive in addressing queries and seeks guidance from the appropriate experts where needed to ensure clients receive clear, accurate, and timely advice. Her approachable and thorough style supports a smooth and confident client experience.

Emily is currently completing her solicitor qualification through BPP University and is on track to qualify in September 2029. Her apprenticeship provides hands on experience alongside academic study, supporting her development as a well rounded, practically focused property solicitor.
