Ellisons has opened a new office in Norwich city centre, marking its first permanent base in the city.

Located at the Digital Hub in Crown Road, the office strengthens the firm’s ability to support SMEs, senior leadership teams and families across Norwich and the wider Norfolk area.

While this is Ellisons’ first office in Norwich, the firm has built strong relationships with clients and contacts in the region over many years. The new base allows the team to work more closely with those clients and expand its presence locally.

The Norwich office will be led by Adam McCaw (Insolvency Partner), Francesca Easter (Family Partner) and Ryan Cracknell (Corporate and Commercial Partner). All three have previously worked in Norwich and live locally, bringing strong insight into the local market.

The opening also supports the firm’s ambition to attract and retain talent in the region, with a number of colleagues already based in Norwich and the surrounding areas.

Guy Longhurst, Managing Partner at Ellisons, said: “This is an important move for us. As an independent, partner-led firm, we focus on building long-term relationships with businesses, their leadership teams and their families, often across multiple generations. Norwich gives us a strong platform to continue that across Norfolk.”

Lizzy Firmin, Chief Operating Officer at Ellisons, added: “Opening in Norwich feels like a natural next step for us. We have worked with clients in the area for a long time, so having a base here means we can be closer to them and more involved in the local business community whilst also supporting our Norwich based colleagues and providing increased opportunities for recruitment and expansion.”
