Lizzy Firmin

Lizzy joined Ellisons in 2020 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2022. With over 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles, she has served as an Executive and Non-Executive Director in both the private and public sectors.

Lizzy’s professional career includes HR and operational leadership positions with Border Force, Hutchison Ports and Trinity House, as well as various Non-Executive Director roles within professional services, transport and logistics and the NHS.

Lizzy’s expertise is in people and getting the best out of them. Her passion lies in the development of people at a strategic level and producing business strategies that drive engagement and performance. She is skilled at instilling successful culture, and addressing barriers to success with a direct and pragmatic approach.

Lizzy has a BA Honors degree from the University of Durham, and a post graduate qualification in HR. She is a Fellow of the CIPD.
