Tia Evans

Tia is a second year Apprentice Solicitor based in the Colchester office working within the Insolvency and Debt Recovery Department. Although primarily based in Colchester, she regulator works in the Frinton office too.

Tia joined the firm after undertaking her A-Levels at The Sixth Form College, Colchester, where she studied English Literature and Language, Law and Criminology. She began her apprenticeship working in the Private Client team in Frinton, supporting Michelle Lamm with day-to-day client interactions and matters such as Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate Estate Administrations. After 18 months, Tia moved to the Insolvency department where she now assists a number of fee earners with a wide range of insolvency matters, both corporate and personal. She is building a strong foundation of legal knowledge and will progress onto more complex matters as she develops further.

Tia is currently working as a Level 7 Degree Apprentice and studying with BPP for her LLB (Hons) in Law and Legal Practice, alongside gaining valuable hands-on experience from her full-time role in the firm. She will complete the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) at the end of her apprenticeship, with a view to qualify in 2030.
