Jay is a Solicitor in Ellisons’ Injury Services team, based in Ipswich. He joined the firm in 2023 as a Trainee Solicitor, gaining valuable experience across several specialist departments during his training contract, and qualified in 2025. Now part of the Injury Services team, Jay supports clients with a range of injury claims and helping them access compensation for their injuries.
Jay graduated with First Class Honours in Law with Spanish (LLB) from the University of Sussex. As part of his degree, he spent a year studying at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where he focused on Spanish Constitutional and Contract Law. He went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Nottingham.
Outside the office
Jay enjoys learning languages, he speaks Spanish and French. He also enjoys cooking and playing guitar.
