We are thrilled to be sponsoring and supporting Essex County Cricketer, Charlie Allison.
Colchester-born Charlie, 19, made his professional debut in the first game of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup in 2023 against Lancashire, and has since made his T20 blast debut this year in an 8 wicket T20 victory against Hampshire at the Cloud County Ground in Chelmsford.
Charlie subsequently made his England Under-19 debut in a Youth Test against Australia last summer following the 50-over competition. He was also amongst their tours to India as well as to South Africa for the World Cup tour.
Charlie is still yet to play first-class for Essex, however that’s one of his main aims for next year as he says – ‘red ball is the pinnacle of cricket’.
Charlie is also a Colchester and East Essex player, another local sports club we are delighted to support.
