Chitra joined Ellisons in 2022 and has 30 years’ experience within HR and People Development, both within private industry and public sector environments. With extensive generalist HR management and employee relations experience spanning many years, Chitra’s passion is assisting leadership teams and working collaboratively with front-line managers, in building positive behaviours and creating an inclusive culture and environment in which all employees can develop to the best of their abilities.
Chitra is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
Outside the office
Chitra is a single parent, actively involved in her son’s, beyond high school, years. She enjoys spending time with friends, sampling the latest Gin flavours, going for local walks in Ipswich, or simply unwinding with a good book. Chitra is also involved with the Raedwald Trust, a partnership of alternative provisions and bespoke pathways serving children and young people requiring a different route to success from mainstream education.
