It can be a minefield for separating parents when communicating with each other in relation to their children. Emotions can still be running high, and communication can be difficult particularly where parents are not amicable or in the early stages of separation. Parents are trying to navigate a ‘new normal’ in relation to being a separated parent whilst looking to keep routines as normal as possible for their children.

There are a range of Apps that parents can access on their devices to enable them to communicate with their former partner. These Apps can be free, or may have a fee to use them. Some offer a range of services including calendars, messaging and sharing and storing information.
