Jonathan is a Partner in Ellisons’ Employment team in Chelmsford. With over 15 years of experience in employment law, he specialises in the preparation of bespoke employment documentation, employment related claims and assisting with senior exits.
Jonathan regularly assists businesses and individuals with a wide range of contentious and non-contentious workplace and HR issues ranging from discipline and grievance, settlement agreements, post-termination restrictions, redundancies/reorganisations, TUPE as well as providing employment support on corporate transactional work.
Jonathan is renowned for delivering clear, effective and commercially sound advice to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Jonathan regularly contributes to employment law articles as well as undertaking both presenting and training to clients, and in addition to his professional work, offers pro bono advice on employment law to a community law clinic. He is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Jonathan is the Vice Chairman of a local football team and also has responsibilities for managing and coaching of the junior teams.
