Evie Byott

Evie is a Solicitor in the Insolvency and Debt Recovery team, based in Colchester and Chelmsford.

Evie has worked on a range of matters for Insolvency Practitioners, individuals and businesses, having been a Trainee Solicitor in the team before qualifying in September 2026.

Evie studied LLB Law at the University of Exeter and completed her Legal Practice Course and combined Master in Laws at the University of Law in London. During her time at the University of Exeter, she was part of the university’s law clinic.

Evie has been involved in several complex high value cases and has worked collaboratively with the team on freezing injunction applications and mediation. She is known for her attention to detail and approachable manner.

Evie is also a PDSL qualified and accredited mediator.

Outside of the office, Evie enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading and going to the gym.
